Printed in the late 1800's or early 1900.  And I recall it was a thin, olive green book about children and proper manners etc.  Someone once thought it might have been a reader.

This book must contain the story of Grandmothers Spectacles. If you have it and you are willing to part with it, please contact Overlookedbook@aol.com with "Grandmothers Spectacles" as the subject , please include your asking price.

UPDATE: This is book is actually titled “Gems for the Fireside by Otis Henry Tiffany. Grandmothers Spectacles is a story within Gems for the Fireside.

Note from me : This book is simply gorgeous, with beautiful  illustrations and beautiful stories that will awe the young, and warm the hearts of the older. I  see why this book was wanted. What a  wonderful book.
